Weekend At Baker

Ladd and I teamed up with our Portland/Montana friends, John and Hannah for trip up to Baker. We rented a cabin for the weekend and met up with MSU buddies, Andy, Seth and newly acquainted Iris, for what was all our first time ever riding mt.Baker. We showed up to Baker two days after a 10foot storm. The snow was tracked before we arrived but steady snow throughout our trip kept the turn soft and allowed for us to find some great out of bounds riding.

It was a sweet trip with a solid pack of riders. Two days of learning and tearing up Baker with long lost buddies was an awesome way to meet the mountain. St.Patty’s day lead us to the bar the night after our first day on the hill. We added to the MSU Alum theme by seeing Nord and PJ at the bar, who are both Patrolling at Baker this season.
