This Footage is from a Thursday on March first at Mt.Hood Meadows. Kelso, Tara, Ben (their IDL work associate) and I, all played hooky for one of the lightest and deepest days I’ve seen on Mt.Hood. There was sad realization early in the day that Meadows does not have steep enough terrain (when Heater Canyon and Private Reserve are closed) to ride on deep days like this.
We gave up on grand turns and instead looked for things to jump off. It truly felt like a “point and find” day, airing anything we could see. A little disclosure is needed, riding away clean was not in the cards as often as I’d like this day. I seem to have forgotten how to land in light snow on a park board, go figure.
This vid was shot and edited by Kelso with his Go Pro and additional footage from his co-worker Ben’s Go Pro.
