Travis Rice’s big mountain freestyle contest was created to showcase a snowboarding obstacle course on high class, backcountry terrain. With his sponsor Red Bull’s support, a steep face at Bald Face Lodge in British Columbia, was sculpted with log features for the world’s best snowboarders to compete on.
For the second season’s contest, Ultra Natural, the course was altered during summer months of 2012. Features were opened up, thinning tress for more flow and bigger airs. Below you will find videos of individual rider parts as well as the full length contest for the Ultra Natural and the Super Natural.

The Red Bull Ultra Natural snowboarding event kicks off it’s second season today at Baldface lodge. BC has been seen a way better weather track than the lower 48 over the past month. I can only hope that winter in BC has filled in the steep Ultra Natural course, enough to make for a standout showing, equal to last years spectacle.
Being Portland based, I’m a big Bryan fan. Love watch you ride buddy! I’m so stoked that Bryan was picked by Snowboarder Magazine as one of three wildcard riders for the RedBull event 2013. I hope you enjoy Travis’s amazing terrain park Bryan, good luck!

Reading through all the highlights and explanations of Travis’s Supernatural event has left me sitting in awe, wishing I could get to the snowboard candy land known as interior British Columbia. The event took place last week under abnormally blue skies for early February in BC. The photos and video footage trickling out online today, benefited greatly from the good light, it all looks surreal.
Check out the ESPN snowboard blog for Liam’s coverage and images from the event.
