Let’s Go Get Small

Pemberton, BC, famed backcountry skier Dave Treadway, created a movie about an adventure deep into the mountains he calls home.  Treadway pushes backcountry skiing to it’s limits using his knowledge of the BC terrain and snowmobiling abilities.  In this movie, he partners with Henrik Windstedt and a filmer to show a side of mountain adventuring that very few of us know.

This is a ski film that is not part of a webisode or large seasonal release, which is why it’s posted to this section of the blog.  This edit is important to see, as it’s a reminder of how big the mountains are and how quickly you can put yourself in uncomfortable positions.  Most ski or snowboarding participants will never have the knowledge of the mountain to safely put themselves where Dave skis.  Enjoy this look into the lifestyle of a badass BC skier who takes sled skiing as deep as anyone can.
