The Northwest has been high and dry for close to a month now.  These mid-winter dry spells seem to set in every winter in the PNW during early January and plague us well into February.  This year we have been “gifted” a few storms during our month of patience but most of them have ended in rain or left hardly enough snow to warrant taking the sleds out.

I finally decided to edit this footage from four weekends ago, after having stared at my sled sitting in the driveway unused, too many times.  Kelso and I had a fun day this day, riding Mt.Adams, with four fresh inches of snow that was fairly windblown.
