While sifting through some Nimbus vids I was watching some awesome shots from a step-up Sammy, Andy, Ryan and Eric built at T-Line and low and behold, Mt.Adams makes an unannounced appearance. These guys seem to be some of the only ones using Adams to it’s potential. Fun shots guys!
Sam Wolff took a real shred trip this winter, he did Tailgate Alaska. I talked with Sam upon his return home to Salt Lake in Late April and he gave a quick rundown of the trip. Tailgate sounded like a true adventure that involves more fuel and driving than the average snowboard can fathom. Lots […]
I can’t say it’s the end of the season with the lifts still spinning at Timberline and even at Mt.Bachelor, who will stay open until the end of May but for me this was it. I finished off the 2010-2011 season last weekend (May 14-15) riding Mt.Bachelor in Bend, OR with Al Brede. It was […]
Comune team manager Cory Smith appears in this sweet edit titled Spring Break, featuring killer pow turns on handmade decks. The wooded classics they shaped ain’t no polished TeamEight deck but they look really fun in the right conditions. After watching this video my one question was, how did they get to the top of […]
Ladd, Al Brede and I rode Meadows today, May 8th, during a limited operations late season day. The weather play games with us, blowing, snowing, shining and melting, off and on throughout the day. The only thing consistent was the halfpipe. Meadows does a poor job of building booters but their pipe is the best […]
The last weekend of April and the first in May. That weekend marked what could be the first annual Cornfest Oregon. Joel Parker, Matt Connors and I drove three hours south on a Friday night from Portland to Sisters, Oregon. Joel had spotted another splitboard zone during a work trip servicing a snotel site. We […]
I would say it’s full-on spring here in Oregon and the park riding is prime but that’s not exactly true. This edit is from the 18th, a 45° day riding park at Meadows. It was a beautiful day and really fun riding with Al Brede and Joel Parker. The only bummer about the day is […]
